Australia's WBO Number one contender, Tim Tszyu made short work of overmatched and undersized compatriot Steve Spark at the Newcastle Entertainment centre, scoring a 3rd round knockout to take his record to 19-0 with 15 Ko's.
Tszyu has said that this would be his last fight in Australia as he now heads oversea's in search of world honours.
With Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano meeting to unify the four major sanctioning bodies world titles on Saturday 17th July, Tszyu knows he needs a win over a top ten contender to cement his place as a viable opponent to the Charlo/Castano winner later in the year.
Either Liam Smith, Magomed Kurbanov and Danny Garcia are the names Tszyu has picked as his preferred next opponent. Smith replied on Twitter:
@Tim_Tszyu congratulations on your win. Let’s go, make a serious offer and let’s have a proper fight.
