Agit Kabayel made the first successful defence of the WBA International Heavyweight Title he won last time out against Evgenios Lazaridis when he won by wide margins on all three ringside judges cards against American warhorse Kevin Johnson at Seebühne Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany.

Scores: 118-111 | 118-111 | 119-110.

The win takes Kabayel to 21-0 with 13 Ko's and includes wins over Dereck Chisora, Herve Hubeaux, Miljan Rovcanin, and Andriy Rudenko. Interestingly, Kayabel has only scored one stoppage in his last six outings since moving up to fringe world-class level.
