Having won the WBC World Minimum Title at the second attempt against Japan's Hiroki Ioka in Japan (The first fight scored a split decision draw), Kiatwanchai made the first defence of the title at home in Thailand against Indonesia's John Arief.
The champion pleased his fans with a wide unanimous decision win.
